Hello and welcome to our forums.
As you may nocied Modcraft is a closed forum and if you want to join Modcraft to have to write an application. But first please notice:

Modcraft is NOT a comunity forum! It's a private, team internal board only for members of the Modcraft Project. If you look for WoW development related infos please try:

Modcraft?
Modcraft aims to be a group of people that allready did WoW modifications and wish to work together on a project to get more experience or just have more fun.
Its easy to make smal nice and naugty hacks. Post some screenshots and beeing the king for the moment.
But everyone that wants more than this, create new worlds, rulesets and amazing other stuff .. in other words more as one person can do alone. Might be interested to join us. Because that is what we want to do. Together.

Rules
Pro: As member of modcraft you have access to all files, editors and docs we did. You can join (or create) one of our projects and use our internal test server. All projects, most of them DB, MAP and KI modifications, run together on this test server. We also do client modifications. You can chat with ppl that know what they are doing and excange your experiences. Solve your problems.

Contra: You HAVE to work on something. We want to be an active team .. inactive users will get banned sooner or later. You have to publish all your results as WoW Files, scripts or dumps. Screenshots wont do it. But to honor your work and protect it from getting stolen you dont have to explain how you did it, share src and so on. You keep copyrights but you allow the team (and his ACTIVE members) to use it.

You can try around as you wish. But the red-line behind modcraft is to create someting together. Keep this in mind before u send an application.
